Admission to Post Graduate Medical (PG Medical) courses in Kerala is based on the NEET-PG rank, the national-level entrance examination for postgraduate medical programmes. Based on the NEET-PG results, the state rank list is prepared and admissions are conducted through the Centralised Allotment Process (CAP) in accordance with the approved prospectus and reservation norms. PG Medical admissions cover approximately 30 medical colleges offering around 28 postgraduate courses across the state. The annual intake is about 1,100 seats, subject to variation as notified by the competent authorities.
